Why refurbish?
As a collector and lover of the Nike Air Max BW, due to the scarcity of this model, I also started buying second-hand ones. Since, as a collector, I always desire the highest quality, I started refurbishing these shoes. This started with simply wiping the shoes with a damp cloth, but soon I got the hang of cleaning better. I learnt how to restore used shoes to almost new condition (refurbishing).
Due to the scarcity of the model, I also started offering second-hand used Nike Air Max BW. However, no one wants a used shoe with visible signs of use. Therefore, all shoes I sell are carefully refurbished. All potentially removable user marks are carefully removed so that the shoes are offered in the best possible condition. Only damage (inflicted by wearing the shoe) that cannot be fixed remains visible. Refurbishing trainers is not only a way to make them like new again, but also contributes to sustainability by reusing materials and reducing waste.
